I'm Maren Penn, a Greenwood SC native and current undergraduate student at Lander University pursuing a career in ceramics. While in college, I've had access to a wide array of ceramic resources and have experimented with different clay bodies, firing techniques, and glazing methods. Much of my work features detailed surface imagery using a combination of colored slips, terra sigillatas, underglazes, and primarily a modern majolica glaze.
